It is a soft wood and with time will show signs of daily use. We get asked all of the time about our wood floors. People that see them in person think they are original to the house. Early settlers found the species in great supply in the nearby forests and quickly learned that it was relatively easy to cut and saw.

Our select grade white pine will feature small pin hole knots varying grain patterns and a crisp white appearance. Unmatched in depth of color and tone our antique heart pine is available in six grades ranging from delicate refined lines and quartersawn elegance to the post industrial knot and nail hole ridden visual landscape of our naily buckshot when available and 3 grades. The reclaimed patina shows warm yellows and light browns. Our white pine wide plank flooring is from exterior and interior barn siding and granary boards once used to hold grain.

Harvested from northeastern white pine timber our white pine flooring is produced in a few choice grades. Reclaimed white pine timbers have variegated amber tones and feature occasional nail holes knots and saw marks. Antique white pine is salvaged from granary boards as well as interior and exterior barn siding.
